Dr Fay Smith 

I am a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a researcher at Oxford University. I work in the UK Medical Careers Research Group (UKMCRG) in the Department of Public Health.

After a couple of years researching travel behaviour at Newcastle University I moved into the field of education.  I was a Research Associate then a Lecturer for 12 years. My main research interest was developing ways of observing classroom behaviour and classroom talk. I now use my skills in data analysis and SPSS to analyse longitudinal data with the UKMCRG.
